Ben Walters brings over a decade of seasoned culinary leadership and hospitality experience to Barnett’s Whiskey House, aligning naturally with our dedication to craftsmanship and quality.

His career foundation was built managing diverse culinary concepts for Compass Group, where he oversaw large teams, developed menus, and mastered the importance of operational consistency—a trait as essential in service as in a well-aged whiskey. He further refined his understanding of service as an experience, not just a function, by managing major accounts and cultivating strong client relationships during his time in hospitality sales with Hilton.

Demonstrating his ability to lead high-stakes operations, Ben served as Director of Operations for Rapid Response Staffing, overseeing over 100 employees across 11 states and directing large-scale emergency operations. This role proved his capacity to guide teams with steadiness and purpose under intense pressure.

Locally in Waco, Ben has elevated several establishments, including Moroso Wood Fired Pizzeria, Kim’s Diner, and Azzurro Coffee. He became known for successfully crafting menus, developing staff training systems, improving cost structure, and refining operations to increase sales and maintain top standards.

Holding a Business Management degree from the University of Arkansas, Ben pairs strong operational knowledge with a genuine love of hospitality. At Barnett’s, he brings these strengths together: honoring tradition, elevating guest service, and helping ensure every patron experiences the warmth, craftsmanship, and authenticity that defines our brand.
