A graduate of the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, he is a Certified Executive Chef through the American Culinary Federation and holds advanced certifications in food safety, nutrition, menu creation, and HACCP planning.
For Chef Pratt, cooking has always been more than a career, it is a lifelong calling rooted in hard work, hospitality, and a love for bringing people together around the table. His passion for food is matched only by his dedication to people, both in the kitchen and at the table.
Throughout his career, he has led high volume restaurants, hotels, and catering operations with a focus on profitability, efficiency, and exceptional guest experiences. His leadership roles, from Executive Chef at Cambria Hotel and BLVD Steakhouse to Corporate Executive Chef for Southern’s Fine Dining, reflect his ability to oversee multiple venues, develop strong teams, and design innovative menus that balance creativity with consistency.
Now proudly leading the kitchen at Barnett’s Whiskey House in Waco, Texas, Chef Pratt continues to bring that same energy and excellence to every plate. His approach is grounded in craftsmanship and community, pairing classic technique with the bold, comforting flavors that define Texas dining.
