Brandon Holmes is the Bar Manager at J.S. Barnett’s Whiskey House in Waco, Texas, where he brings together his deep knowledge of craft cocktails, leadership in hospitality, and genuine love for people. A Waco native, Brandon’s journey in the hospitality and beverage industry spans bartending, sales, and management, giving him a well rounded perspective on creating exceptional guest experiences.
He began his career behind the bar at Shorty’s Pizza Shack, where he honed his skills in mixology, customer service, and high volume service. Brandon’s passion for craft beer and spirits led him to Brother Well Brewing, where he managed sales, built relationships with accounts, and represented the brand at events across the region. He later expanded into leadership roles, serving as Assistant General Manager at Crickets, overseeing staff, operations, and customer satisfaction with a focus on building strong teams and delivering memorable experiences.
At Barnett’s Whiskey House, Brandon now oversees all bar operations, from staff management and inventory control to financial oversight and event execution. He is dedicated to maintaining the bar’s welcoming atmosphere while ensuring exceptional service and a safe environment. Beyond his professional achievements, Brandon is an adventurous spirit, avid golfer, and devoted father, roles he treasures most. He also enjoys exploring the world of craft beer and spirits, always seeking new flavors and experiences to share with guests and friends alike.
